REFUGE Festival
Broadcasting Scene
The Festival embodies the time when the film returns to its original land and public. Screenings, debates, performances, cine-clubs : a space of connection between creators and communities.
The Festival welcomes original creations produced by the Refuge Institute, as well as foreign films, selected for their abilities to question our relationship to storytelling, place and people.
The Festival is also a special place for scientific popularization, to explore the Institute’s fascinating research, at the crossroads of cinema and human sciences.
🎵 Arts x Science System
Music for Science
Music for Science is an additional micro-event offered as a “scientific add-on” to a musical event. Researchers in scientific fields such as neuroscience, anthropology, arts or media take the stage during music shows to mix knowledge to musical performances to expand the public experience. Music becomes a way to access science. Collectes funds support future film projects run by the Institute.
